Butter Container Manufacturing
Work with Honokage on the container design, mold and IML production for your butter packaging project. Our manufacturing services connect packaging development with injection molding, sample review and bulk supply.
For an existing format, send the model number and your branding requirements. For a new design, share a drawing, reference sample or target dimensions so the engineering team can review the project.
This helps define the tub, lid and decoration together before you move into production planning.

Choose the Right Butter Tub and Lid
A suitable butter tub must fit both the product and the filling process. Check the dimensions, usable fill volume and lid arrangement together when comparing models.
– Capacity: distinguish brimful volume from the working fill volume needed for your recipe and headspace.
– Shape: review the footprint, height and opening against your filling equipment and shelf layout.
– Closure: tell us whether your project needs a snap-on lid, a separate seal or a tamper-evident feature so we can assess the available options.
– Handling: share the filling temperature, storage conditions and transport requirements for sample evaluation.
Volume in milliliters and product weight in grams are different measurements. A 250 ml container should not automatically be treated as a 250 g butter pack.
Custom IML Decoration for Your Brand
Give your butter tubs a coordinated brand appearance with in-mold labeling (IML). The printed label is placed inside the mold and bonds with the container during molding.
Use the available label areas to present your logo, product name, flavor and pack information. Depending on the selected format, the tub and lid can be reviewed for separate artwork layouts.
Share your design files, color references and required label areas. We can review the layout against the selected tub and lid before sample approval. Decoration options depend on the model and project requirements.

Existing Molds or Custom Tooling
Choose the development route that matches your packaging requirements.
– Existing mold: start with an available tub and lid format when the dimensions and structure suit your product. Review the available colors and IML artwork options for that model.
– Custom tooling: consider a new mold when the required shape, capacity or closure cannot be achieved with an existing format. The project needs a design review, tooling quotation and sample approval plan.
For OEM and ODM projects, send your drawing or reference sample with the target fill, expected order quantity and launch schedule. We can assess the mold route before the design is finalized.
Wholesale Butter Containers & Bulk Orders
Source butter containers in bulk for dairy production, private label packaging or distribution. Honokage quotes each project against the selected tub, lid, decoration and order requirements.
Send the model or target pack size, quantity per design, delivery destination and required arrival date. Ask for the MOQ, sample options, production lead time and packing details in the quotation.
If your range includes several flavors or label designs, list the quantity for each version. Keep tooling, decoration and shipping requirements clear so you can compare quotations on the same basis.

Quality Checks for Your Packaging Project
Honokage’s quality workflow includes raw material checks, first-sample inspection and production quality control. For your butter packaging project, agree the acceptance requirements around the actual tub, lid and intended use.
– Material and documents: identify the selected material and ask which food-contact documents and test reports cover your intended market and use conditions.
– Container and lid: review dimensions, fit and the required closure features using representative samples.
– Decoration: check the artwork version, label placement and appearance against the approved sample.
– Filling and distribution: evaluate the packaging with your product, equipment, storage conditions and transport plan before bulk release.
Share any specific test requirements with your inquiry so the available evidence and any additional evaluation can be discussed early.
From Packaging Brief to Bulk Production

Tell us what you are packing, the target fill weight, preferred container shape and expected quantity. Include the filling temperature, storage conditions, destination market and required delivery date. A current pack, drawing or model number helps us understand your starting point.

Review an existing format or a custom tooling proposal. Agree the dimensions, working fill volume, lid arrangement and decoration areas. The design review should also cover how the packaging will be handled by your filling and packing equipment.

For a custom design, agree which prototype or mock-up is needed to review size, appearance and handling. Review the artwork on the proposed label layout as well. Confirm what each sample can demonstrate; a visual prototype does not by itself approve the final molded packaging for production use.

For new tooling, mold trials provide samples for checking dimensions, lid fit and decoration. Evaluate representative molded samples with your product and filling process, then confirm any changes and the acceptance criteria before approving bulk production.

After sample and order approval, confirm the final specification, artwork version, order quantities and packing instructions. Production, inspection and shipment can then be arranged to the agreed plan. Keep the approved sample and specification as references for repeat orders.

Butter Container Purchasing Questions
Please request the MOQ for your selected container, lid and decoration requirements. Include the quantity needed for each size and artwork version. We can then confirm the applicable MOQ and prepare a quotation based on your packaging specifications.
Specify whether you need complete tub-and-lid sets or individual components. The quotation should identify the container, matching lid and any IML decoration included in the price. Confirm the quantity of each component and whether a separate sealing film is required.
Send clear photos of a reference container, approximate dimensions, target fill weight and any preferred model from this collection. Include your order quantity, filling conditions and branding requirements. These details help us assess whether an existing tub and lid are suitable or whether a custom design needs further review.
Request the carton dimensions and packing quantities for both tubs and lids, together with the proposed pallet or shipping-container loading arrangement. Compare the total number of complete tub-and-lid sets, not just the number of tubs. Provide your delivery destination so freight can be quoted on a consistent basis.
